NEW! SCAN-SWAP 8x10 only

We can swap out an identical scanned color photo of your purchase, and frame IT for display, leaving you with the original, unframed 8x10 to put away in a safe place. This is advantageous for expensive photos which may be susceptible to theft, but still make a nice presentation, or for those collectors who prefer unframed photos. The best of both worlds! and no one will ever know. We even include a COI (Certificate of Inauthenticity) on the back. Add $100 for this service.

This famous photo was taken
aboard the Apollo XVII
command module America in
December, 1972 as the final
Apollo flight was embarking
from Earth for what was to
become the longest and most
successful lunar mission to
the Taurus-Littrow region.
It has been called the
"most significant
photo of the 20th
Century", the African
and Antarctic continents
plainly visible. It was
summer in the Southern
hemisphere, and winter in
the North. Apollo 17 was
the only mission to view
the Earth in this full
phase, and even modern
weather satellites cannot
duplicate this extreme
southern view, as they are
in equatorial orbits. 20x20
