Apollo 9 crew as backups

Here's a 8x10 photo of the Apollo 9 crew as the backup crew for the ill-fated Apollo 1. Not long after the tragic pad fire, they were replaced by Schirra, Cunningham and Eisele, to fly the first Apollo manned mission, which turned out to be Apollo 7 (Apollos 2-6 we unmanned test flights.)
