Lunar-flown Apollo 13 Beta Cloth Patch
EXCLUSIVE--
James Lovell, one of the few men to fly to the moon twice, and pilot on Gemini 7, Commander of Gemini 12 and Apollo 13, and one of the first three humans to fly to the Moon on Apollo 8, has given us an exclusive consignment--a flown patch.
As Apollo 13 and its crew was very nearly lost, these patches could easily still be frozen in space or burned up upon re-entry in the crippled capsule. We are fortunate to have these relics from NASA's finest hour.
In an Apollo motif mat with a rare sterling silver Apollo 13 medallion worth over $2500 itself.
Lifetime Archivally Framed
Specially float-mounted without glue or anything attached or stuck to the patch. Acid-free mats in an Apollo motif. Frame is an etched gold antique gold finish anodized aluminum. UV-blocking plexiglass. Plexiglass on the back also to show backside of medallion.
Size: 17 X 25 framed
