A waterbird with an elegantly curved neck wades through
marshy waters, while hunting for a tasty morsel. The
reflection on the water of grasses on the far shore
provides a muted backdrop, highlighting the subtle blue
shadings of the bird's feathers. 12x10 image.
BAYOU BEAUTY
NEW!
SOLD
A pale yellow house sits cozily nestled among lush, green,
Florida foliage, accented by red flowers. The dense
growth and a slatted fence provide privacy and shelter
from the outside world. 19x14 image.
HIDDEN HOUSE
NEW!
SOLD
One of many stone bridges located in Acadia National Park
in Maine. The carriage roads and stone bridges in the
park were financed and directed by philanthropist John D.
Rockefeller, Jr., between 1913 and 1940. One of Mike's
vacation spots. 19x13 image.
ROCKEFELLER BRIDGE
Refreshingly cool, blue water winds its way through a rocky
riverbed, edged by a lush, grassy shore. The boulders
have been scoured flat and channeled over the years by
rushing water, when submerged by rising levels during the
wet season. 13x15 image.
AMBOSELLI BENDS
A colorfully-bordered driveway leads to a quiet south
Florida home. A picket fence completes this idyllic
scene. 10x11 image.
EASY STREET
This is the ninth in a series of paintings inspired by
Mike's safari to Tanzania in 2016. An ocelot shows off
its many spots, while relaxing near a leafy tree. 14x10
image.
SAFARI #9: A LOT OF OCELOT
This is the eighth in a series of paintings inspired by
Mike's safari to Tanzania in 2016. A stealthy crocodile
glides through the water, making nary a ripple, and
looking more like a log than a vicious predator. 15x11
image.
SAFARI #8: CROCODILE
This is the fourth in a series of paintings inspired by
Mike's safari to Tanzania in 2016. Warthogs eat by
getting down on their front knees, which is part of why
Mike is fascinated by these creatures. A golden-maned
warthog bows to eat, while another watches warily from a
raised outcrop of rock. A pale moon hangs in the sky.
15x11 image.

BIG PINK
SOLD
This is the sixth in a series of paintings inspired by
Mike's safari to Tanzania in 2016. Mike is not sure if
this hyena is yawning, screaming, laughing, preparing to
attack, or expressing disgust or outrage, in response to
the titular question. He leaves the interpretation up to
you. A pale moon hangs in the sky. 11x15 image.
SAFARI #6:
HOW DID YOU LIKE
THE ELECTION, SIR?
